With the help of Mother Nature and an old friend he tries to convince an entire planet it is almost too late. Purge it, said Henry as he lowered his cup of coffee. Scour the planet clean and lets start this party all over again. Ben and Henry sat across from each other in a booth in some greasy spoon diner, although Ben hardly considered this the appropriate place in which to discuss the fate of humankind. Seriously Henry, you would undo all that has been done, to eradicate all civilization as if it were some kind of infestation? Surely theres another way, perhaps a way that doesnt involve a global genocide.

You got to understand something Benny, there is far too much damage to the world for it to ever be repaired. Its decline into ruin has already begun, and you think you can simply pop in and stop civilizations downward spiral. Youre fooling yourself. People are and have always been self-destructive. They are mindless crawling worms and their only purpose on this miserable planet is to keep the universe in balance. I say wipe them out and rid us of this plague.

It would sure simplify things. Thats not the point, damn it Ben scolded as he slammed his hand on the table. This attracted the attention of most of the patrons in the diner. It is not our place to destroy, our destiny is to inspire, to lift their souls into a higher state of consciousness. Ben looked directly into Henrys eyes and felt contempt for him.
